Under the NEW NORMAL, you can only go by car. With the help of Waze or Google Maps, you can easily get there.
The attractive walkway to the reception welcomes every visitor and already creating the mood of a blissful oneness with nature. The entrance alone made us know that we had made the right decision to stay at STILTS.
I am from Batangas but never heard that STILTS resort has been existing. Calatagan would always be on our list when we plan for summer outing. Hope to visit this place one time. 🙂
So did I! I never thought this place existed at all. This was also my first time in Calatagan. Now I have more reason to visit this tranquil place! 😉
My dad's family is from Batangas (Bauan to be specific) but never did we hear about this resort! I'm definitely planning our visit here soon! I love how calm the place looks in the photo and you're lucky that there's not much people. So you can really enjoy the environment and scenery.
The place looks huge. They have a really nice beachfront.
They do and they have 3 beach fronts to play around! 🙂
That's actually a bit pricey for local accommodation, but I can't argue that the place is beautiful. Do they have air conditioned rooms as well?
You are correct about the price. That is why the beach is not over crowded and they can maintain the cleanliness and peacefulness of this place. All their rooms are air conditioned. I added new pictures of the room where we stayed. .
Wow… gorgeous pic. And you look great! I wish to visit here if I ever coming to the Philippines again. 😀
Thanks so much! You definitely should visit Philippines someday! 🙂
Really it's a tranquil place to visit with it's beautiful sceneries. Love the quiet place to bond with family.
philippines really have nice holiday spots esp the beaches and also love the seafood.
It is! You just need to make sure that it's summer time! You get the perfect weather which is ideal for island hopping!
So beautiful and it's cool that dogs are allowed
There are very few resorts that allow pets and one of them is Stilts… It's a perfect playground for dogs because it's not crowded at all.
lovely that it's pet friendly! the waters look so clear and refreshing!
We were very surprised that the place was pet friendly! Glad it is since we love travelling with our fur babies! Surprisingly the beach was also very clean and clear. Although some corals are already damaged, they are undergoing some rehabilitation to help and let corals grow again.
Wow what a beautiful place to visit! The lush grounds are wonderful and that pool is too die for! I would never want to leave!
If only I could stay longer I would! They were able to preserve it's the beauty of place and that's what I like about them. I also like how it's not too concrete .. We really enjoyed our stay in an air conditioned nipa hut.
Looks like you have got the place all for yourself! Also noted that you seem to have different swimming trunks on for each photo. You brought one for each day? Haha! I personally prefer board shorts than trunks on a beach.
Looks like the perfect place for me! Everything seems to be great, location, food, facilities….and what I like the most it's they are pet friendly! That's not so common for a place like this. Thank's for sharing this!
Wow, a resort that allow pets!!
The view is amazing~ Are there any good spots nearby good for snorkelling??
The photographs are stunning and the fact that it is pet friendly gives it a lot of brownie points in my book. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Wa… this place is beautiful. I am tempting to go there now because of your photographs!!!
Wonderful photos its so relaxing. I'll add STILTS Calatagan in my bucket list for next year..:)
Wow! Interesting place. I was looking for place like this back when I was still based in Metro Manila. This is something I want to try visit when I get to visit Metro Manila again. Hmmm, I didn't even know this existed. Just wow! Feling envious here. 😀
Wow! Been to Calatagan 10 years ago, can't believe there's this beautiful place there!! Awesome photos as well!!
I am pretty impressed with the place. Thanks for sharing the photos. Normally I'd be wary of posts like this but yours seem genuine. I'd like to give this a try.
Wow! The place looks gorgeous! Can't wait to check it out! 🙂
Feels like summer in the Philippines. Thumbs up for those breath taking photos.
Wow! It looks so beautiful here! I didn't expected this to be in Batangas.
Awesome place with delicious foods. Worth the pay with adventuring in that place.
I've known this resort way back 2013 since I'm assigned to look for venues for our company outing. But accommodation was too pricey. 🙁 Sayang.. Thanks for sharing your experience. Great photos! 🙂
I've long heard to calatagan. It's so near manila I should consider going.
Wow! Ang ganda ng lugar. And its just a few hour drive from Manila. This is a perfect weekend getaway! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much! We really enjoyed our stay and in addition to the photos, the hospitality of the staff was commendable! We were really pampered and we felt very safe during our stay at Stilts. 😉
Cool! Thanks for sharing. Will definitely check this place out when I get back to Philippines. Cheers!

Pleasure always Kim! This is really a hidden gem in Calatagan! 😉
I'd been here on a company event, and same as you, I liked the tranquility in the resort. There are other nicer beaches in Batangas, but Stilts Calatagan has that quiet, relaxing vibes. The sea wasn't very swimmable during our day tour since it was low tide and there was a lot of sea urchins, so we stayed near the shore and then moved on to the pools. A good location for group or company outings.
I wonder if u hav a pic of all their menus and costs. Famtrip will be on june 11 and since im on a tight budget I need to know how much shld I spend for each person. Thanks!
Hi Angelo,
I love to travel and am now becoming your fan due to your very informative posts and the pictures are truly impressive (well taken, composed, and breath-taking). Thank you so much !!!
Are there any public bathrooms? 🙂
