During my search for a hotels in the city of Cagayan de Oro, I required a hotel that was very central to everything where I could just walk to stores, malls, restaurants, and other places of interest in Cagayan De Oro – 1A Express Hotel fulfilled those requirements.

Without a doubt, I immediately booked an overnight stay at 1A Express Hotel. As soon as I arrived from the airport, I entered the reception area and the staff were very friendly and very welcoming. I already had a feeling that I was going to have a great stay in this hotel.

The moment I stepped in, I loved how clean and bright the reception looked. It has this very contemporary and minimalist design which is the current trend nowadays and of course a very friendly staff.

Since it opened last November 2016 many people have started coming to 1A Express Hotel. The contemporary look and the accessibility to everything make this hotel a great choice for tourists and business travelers alike.

When I entered my room I was very impressed with what I saw. The place was so spacious with a two queen sized beds. Everything you need is found in the rooms. The WiFi also works perfectly wherever you are in the hotel.

One particular feature that I appreciated again was the minimalist design and the colors used in the rooms. The touch of grey, white, and brown in the room really complemented the overall aesthetics of the room and created a relaxing feel.

The bed and pillows were really soft and comfortable. So rest assured that you are going to have a great sleep.

For those who prefer to stay in the room, you can just turn on the TV and enjoy a cup of coffee all complimentary. If you just come from the store and have some cold goods, the room has a small fridge for its guests to use.

Right outside the hotel, you will find a convenience store and laundry shop but in case you forgot your essentials, you have complimentary shampoo, conditioner, soaps and tooth brush in the bathroom.

And talking about bathroom, all I could say was I had the best bath at 1A Express Hotel. The water pressure was superb and the cold and hot shower work perfectly.

Part of our stay was a complimentary breakfast. Guests can enjoy from the following a la carte choices. For this morning, my mind was telling me to go for the Bangus which I did.

Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the 4th floor, which also serves as multi-purpose area which can be rented for parties, meetings, and other small events that you have planned.

My friend’s Bangus arrived with a sunny side up and garlic rice on the side.

Outside the multi-purpose hall I went out to the balcony to check on the outside. I could just imagine how lively this place is during evenings.

1A Express Hotel is definitely a great addition to the many hotels in Cagayan De Oro City. The service you will receive from them is top notch; the staff were very friendly, the rooms are excellent, the accessibility to malls and other shops are just few meters away from the hotel.
