AMADEO CAVITE | One of the many tourist spots to visit in Cavite is the Balite Falls. And when I got nothing much to do, I am always looking for scenic places, where I could have fun, relaxing and closer to home. One thing came to my mind and fits all the things on my list, that is BALITE FALLS!
Known to be the Coffee Capital of the Philippines, the town of Amadeo, Cavite is where you can find Balite Falls. A spot in the province of Cavite that is not be missed. Before, it was said that the falls were closed to the public. But now, the resort is open 7 days a week which is great!
Balite Falls Entrance Fee
With an ENTRANCE FEE of PHP 200.00 as of 2023, you can enjoy the clear waters and the lush green landscape of the Balite Falls.
How much are the cottages?
Cottages are available for rent from Php 500.00 – Php 2,500.00. They have no overnight accommodation and no restaurant yet so make sure to buy your food and drinks before you arrive here at Balite Falls. I like that they added cottages next to the swimming area, so if you need a quick dip, just jump off your cottage.
I visited the Balite Falls in Amadeo Cavite years ago during the Holy Week, and I was overwhelmed by the number of people. I promised to myself that I would visit the place again in the future when it’s not too busy. And finally, I got the chance of doing just that.
Thank God for long breaks in the Philippines because it gave me the opportunity to visit the place again. And when we arrived at the Balite Falls, we were overjoyed to see it was less crowded. Just what I’ve been wanting to see!
They have small lagoons for everyone who chooses to just relax and enjoy the day.
The falls aren’t that high which make it a popular jumping spot for most visitors, including myself. If you are swimming with your children, please keep a watchful eye on them as some parts, specially if you go closer to the falls, are 18 feet deep.
Water gushing out from these bamboo poles was so nice specially if you have aching shoulders and backs. They can give you a great back and shoulder massage, guaranteed!
The water is also very clean thinking it’s only an hour or two away from Manila.
This side of the resort is pretty shallow which is perfect for kids and to those who can’t swim. Adult supervision is still required although they have a life guard on duty.
As of 2023 during the pandemic lockdown, they cemented the bottom floor of the river resulting in a much clearer water. I like it and makes it easier to swim.
If you love photography, this place is highly recommended to capture the best moments of your life. One of the best places to take that Instagram-worthy shots that you’ve always wanted.
Aside from the Waterfalls, they now have a huge swimming pool where you can also enjoy and spend time longer with your friends or families.
I am not sure if camping or overnight stay is allowed, but if you plan on going on a nature trip with families and friends, BALITE FALLS is a must! Watch this Youtube Vlog of Jah CluB Film about Balite Falls.
