If you are looking for an affordable hotel in Metro Manila, Kingsford Hotel could be your hotel of choice.
It’s been a while since we went for a staycation, so we decided to try it again. We wanted something that is central and located close to malls and restaurants. We also looked for a hotel that was not too expensive, and I think Kingsford was the right place.
We immediately booked on their website and within a few minutes, we were able to get our desired dates. You can also check on other promos of the hotel directly on their website.

Coming from Cavite, it was an easy drive to the hotel since it was just located in Paranaque, very close to the Okada Hotel, Mall of Asia and IKEA.
When we arrived, we were already approached by their staff who welcomed us and took our car to their parking area. We proceeded to the Reception so we could check in. The lobby and reception area was well-appointed with a touch of luxury. The staff was very welcoming and everything is close to one another like the restaurant, lift, and other amenities.
Kingsford Deluxe Room
As we entered our deluxe room, my first impression was the cleanliness and how spacious our room was. It smelled good as well. The bed was so nice and inviting, it felt like you just want to lay on your bed and relax all day and night.
The toilet and bath were also spacious and clean. The hot and cold showers worked perfectly and the pressure was spot on.
While enjoying the room, I had to check out the other amenities the hotel has to offer.
Kingsford Fitness Gym & Infinity Pool
Located on the 6th floor of the hotel, you will find their fitness gym, swimming pool and Jacuzzi, and sauna and steam rooms.
Their fitness gym is actually quite nice and spacious. All the equipment that you need in your workout is there. If only I had more time, I would definitely go for a workout.
Going for a swim at Kingsford Hotel is definitely a must. You will find a jacuzzi on the side facing another hotel, otherwise, you could go for a nice lap swim. Otherwise, you could order in the bar next to the pool and have a nice cool drink or cocktails next to the pool.
In the shower area, you will also find the sauna and the steam room if you want to do some detoxification and relieve your stress.
The next day, we went down to the main lobby where you will find Kingsford Cafe where the buffet breakfast is being served.
They also serve a buffet at dinner time too and are open for walk-in guests. Our breakfast buffet was actually quite nice because it’s it served local and western dishes. We were just missing the freshly cooked eggs for omelettes and sunny sides. But for the rest, they all tasted really good.
All in all, it was a great staycation hotel right in the metro. We had a great stay and slept really well. We enjoyed using the amenities, especially the swimming pool. Our kids really had a great time there. The food tasted really good as well, especially during our buffet breakfast. And, in addition, the staff were very accommodating and friendly to its guests. And most of all, we considered it very affordable, yet it was a great luxury experience!
