Learning the significance of our flag requires a thorough understanding of its symbols. The Filipino traits, each represented by a colour, creates inspirational design, that reflects the collective stories of our ancestors. In fact, the Philippine flag we have today underwent many revisions and HistoryLand gives us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the  making of this authentic Filipino symbol.

FIGHT FOR PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE

Our forefathers’ fight for the country’s ultimate independence was a long and arduous battle which has become a part of history we are all very eager to unravel. Experience this moving reenactment at the first ever history amusement park.

AMBIANCE ACTORS & PARADE OF HISTORY

This is the main highlight of this attraction. Take photos will El Katipuneros, Sisa, General Luna, Maria Clara and Friars, and learn a thing or two from these icons of our history.  You can also get a once in a lifetime experience with HistoryLand’s historical figures in a 30-minute Meet and Greet! Characters that are part of HistoryLand will walk through the streets of Las Casa in a parade for everyone to witness.

All these unique initiatives of Jose Acuzar are in line with his mission to bring Filipino heritage to the fore.  This has come to the attention of an international audience being the only Philippine property to be a part of the Conde Nast Johansens Luxury Global Collection and Historic Hotels Worldwide.

This heritage resort is also the Asia Awards of Excellence winner for Asia’s most excellent destination for 2017 and is a project of the New San Jose Builders, Inc.

After witnessing the HistoryLand show, I was convinced that this is something tourists would definitely enjoy when they visit Las Casas Filipinas De Acuzar. The actors and actresses were really good and most importantly I felt the patriotism among the Filipino tourists who witnessed the show.

Seeing them portraying some of the most important parts of our Philippine History and the  bravery of what our heroes did for the country made me feel proud to be a FILIPINO! Mabuhay!
