ANTIPOLO CITY | People, nowadays specially, live in a very hectic lifestyle and sometimes don’t have the time for themselves. Maybe now is the time to leave all the paper work and other work matters behind because not far from Metro Manila, there is one resort in Antipolo waiting for you and that is LULJETTA’S HANGING GARDENS AND SPA !

As we all know, thousands of visitors visit the different tourist spots in Antipolo City because of the different resorts and it’s proximity to Manila. Thank goodness for the holiday that was declared, I finally had a chance to visit the place and be pampered the Luljetta’s way!

Having a relaxing time at Luljettas Hanging Garden and Spa in Antipolo City

Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens and Spa is located inside the Loreland Farm Resort. It’s a big resort with many swimming pools and restaurants. It also gives you a beautiful panoramic views of Laguna De Bay and the Metro Manila skyline like this one.
Beautiful View from Luljettas Hanging Gardens and Spa

We arrived a bit early as expected, so we grabbed some breakfast and had it in one of their stylish huts like this. There are several restaurants inside Loreland Farm that offer a great selection of food.
For Php 150.00, you can enjoy  a very good Continental breakfast like this one. They even did the eggs nicely poached!
From the reception, we were given Batik robes to put on while we are inside the spa. Towels and a basket to put on your personal belongings were also provided.
As we were walking down to the spa, I was really amazed how the place was tastefully done. It is beautifully landscaped everywhere you look. Everything is so green and lush. Soothing music continuously plays in the background and the aromatic smell in the air makes everything seem so calm.
They are open from 10:00 am until 11:00 pm during weekends. Sitting here staring at the view made me think that this is a great escape destination from the city jungle!

Luljetta’s Hydro Pools

Massage comes in different forms, and at Luljetta’s you can start off at their Hydro Pool where you can soak, lie down, and let water release your stress.
Water is a good therapy, that’s why this infinity pool that looks over Laguna De Bay and Metro Manila is a perfect blend for total relaxation.  This is also one of the famous spots for guests at the spa.
We have beautiful swimming pools but I just wonder how many of this do we have in Antipolo or in Metro Manila?  This infinity pool at Luljetta’s is definitely one of my favorite
infinity pools!
If you are done exploring the water amenities, you may take a break and relax in one of their Filipino inspired lounges found inside the spa. One example and also my favorite is the BUDDHA’S LOUNGE.
Aside from the Signature Massage, the spa offers other services like manicure, pedicure, scrubs and many more. But if you wan’t something different, let Dr. Fish do the job!
They have two ponds for the small and the big fish. So get ready to be tickled!
After all the pampering we did, it is now time to spoil our tummies. We headed down to their Hanging Gardens Restaurant for a meal. Once again, I would like to commend Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens and Spa for making use of indigenous materials and a concept that is truly Philippines.

Luljetta’s Restaurant (Please take not that prices may changed based on the season)

We availed of their Che’f Special for Php 400.00 per person. In the Chef Special, you will have the Corn Soup, Crab Spring Roll, Gourmet Fish Salad, Pasta with Tuna Pesto or Puttanesca Sauce, Fruits in Season, and a refreshing Lemon Grass Tea.
The refreshing taste of the Crab Spring Roll was a perfect starter.
I love the vinaigrette sauce and crunchiness of the vegetables in Gourmet Fish Salad.
I love pesto and this Pasta in Tuna Pesto Sauce is really good!
Before you end your trip, make sure to try this Suman topped with a sweet Mango slice and syrup. Delicious!

Luljetta’s Massage and Spa

It was now time for our afternoon massage and of course we went for their SIGNATURE MASSAGE. A friend of mine told me that it was the best massage he had and that I am about to find out.
At the spa, you have the option whether you want it done in an air-conditioned room or in  non-air conditioned nipa hut rooms like this one. I preferred it done in this cozy nipa hut.

The massage took an hour and what could I say, it was really good! I love massages and this one was really one of the best massage I had so far. What a nice way to

end our trip at Luljetta’s.

At the end of the day, we left the place rejuvenated and pampered. Almost like you are ready to face the world again. I wish we stayed longer or even for a night but I have to save that for my next visit.
I also couldn’t get over how this place felt so far away from the city yet you are only few kilometers away from Manila making this an ideal getaway destination.
If you are planning to visit, it is advisable to make a reservation ahead of time. The place can get busy during weekends, so if you have the time to visit during weekdays, go for it!
