BABY ON TRACK: A Benefit Run to Save Baby Shaila from Biliary Atresia

As a proud member of the Pinoy Aspiring Runners, I am a true believer of their advocacy to help those who are in need. When I saw a post about this cute little baby needing aid for her operation, I felt like this was the best opportunity to share our generosity to save the life of this little Angel.

Pinoy Aspiring Runners, in cooperation with the major sponsors, will organize a running event that will take place on June 26, 2016 to be held at the CCP Complex in Pasay City.

Baby Shaila is suffering from Bilary Atresia, a rare disease of the liver and bile ducts that occurs in infants.  Symptoms of the disease appear or develop about two to eight weeks after birth. Source: www.cincinnatichildrens.org/health/b/biliary/

The cost of the operation is going to be very expensive that is why Pinoy Aspiring Runners came in to help. This initiative of the running group truly serves as an inspiration to all and I would like to ask for your support to run for this cause.

There are 4 categories for this event.  There is even a barefoot category for barefoot runners and those who would like to try it for the first time. Bib designs are displayed below and each finisher will receive a finisher’s medal upon reaching the finish line.
